OZAPAY: far more than a token, a ticket to the future

OZAPAY: far more than a token, a ticket to the future

Solsale incident, holder protection, OZA V2 launch and outlook: why our ambition remains intact despite the events of October 29, 2026.

An incident can shake a market. It is not enough to erase years of work, a technology, a vision and a community.

October 29, 2026 will remain a remarkable date in the history of OZAPAY.

That day, our ecosystem suffered the consequences of an exploitation of the token locking system offered by Solsale, an external solution from the GemPad ecosystem.

92.7 million OZA tokens, personally owned by the founder and voluntarily locked until April 8, 2027, were withdrawn without his authorization and then resold on the market.

The impact on the price of OZA was immediate.

We fully understand the questions raised by our members, our investors and our partners.

But beyond price movement, there is one question worth asking:

What does OZA truly represent, and what remains of a project when its token goes through a major crisis?

In our case, the answer is clear: a company, an operational application, a technology, teams, partners, a community and a roadmap that have not disappeared.

And above all, a leadership that knows where it is going.

1. Solsale: understanding the incident without confusing responsibilities

To understand the situation, it is essential to revisit our initial decision.

In a move toward transparency and protection of our ecosystem, our founder and chairman, Johan Decottignies, had decided to lock 92.7 million OZA from his personal "Founder & Team" allocation for one year.

These tokens were to remain unavailable until April 8, 2027.

For this operation, he had used Solsale, a solution from the GemPad ecosystem, then present in the world of decentralized services on Solana.

Solsale and GemPad notably appeared in the application catalog of Phantom, one of the best-known players in that environment.

This listing was obviously not an absolute guarantee of security, but it reflected the provider's visibility within the ecosystem.

These tokens had been locked to protect the market, not to be sold.

However, our preliminary technical investigations show that the tokens were able to be withdrawn without authorization, ahead of the scheduled release date.

The initial analyses point to an incident that may affect 115 projects and 301 lock-up positions.

Johan Decottignies neither initiated nor authorized the withdrawal and sale of his personal tokens. He is a direct victim of their misappropriation.

The company OZAPAY, legally distinct from the owner of the tokens concerned, is suffering the repercussions of this event on its ecosystem, its community and the OZA market.

We take responsibility for the initial choice of this provider, but the operations observed do not correspond to any decision made by our team.

Our investigations are ongoing, the transactions are traced on the blockchain and steps have been initiated with the platforms concerned.

A criminal proceeding is being prepared to enable the pursuit of those responsible and, where possible, the recovery of the misappropriated assets.

We will communicate significant and verified progress.

2. We had not waited for this incident to anticipate risks

It is important to understand another element of this story.

Even before the events of October 29, OZAPAY was already working on developing its own native locking solution on Solana.

We had identified the limits of prolonged reliance on third-party platforms for functions as strategic as this one.

Our teams were already preparing a migration to an architecture that we could develop, control and evolve directly.

The incident unfortunately occurred while this transition was not yet complete.

It would not be serious to claim that we had managed to prevent all risks: this event precisely demonstrates that external dependence could still expose us.

On the other hand, our technical response was not improvised in haste.

We had already identified this evolution as necessary and started the corresponding work.

The difference today is that this transition is becoming a priority.

We have also preserved the timeline elements surrounding the events, including a post made on X shortly before the first unauthorized withdrawals, as well as the observations regarding the communication channels associated with Solsale.

These elements will be examined as part of the investigations, without prejudging responsibility.

Anticipating does not mean claiming that no incident can occur. It means having the ability to react, to make decisions and to keep moving forward when circumstances demand it.

That is the ability we are mobilizing today.

3. Your OZA have not disappeared: the difference between ownership and valuation

We want to be especially clear with our community.

Initial checks have not revealed any unauthorized withdrawal of tokens held in our members' personal wallets following the Solsale exploitation.

However, the massive sales of the misappropriated tokens significantly disrupted their market price.

Two realities must therefore be distinguished.

The first: the quantity of OZA you hold.

This quantity remains verifiable on the Solana blockchain. Your tokens and their history are essential elements for establishing your situation in the future migration process.

The second: their valuation in euros.

The amount displayed in an application relies on market data. In a context of high volatility and disrupted liquidity, it can be very different from the amount that an actual sale would yield.

We are aware that this situation may generate misunderstanding.

We are working on improving the presentation of this information so that each member can better distinguish their holdings, their indicative valuation and their future status in the migration framework.

A drop in price does not mean your tokens have disappeared. But we do not minimize the financial consequences of this drop either.

Transparency requires acknowledging both.

4. OZA: far more than a simple token, a ticket to the future

This is probably the most important message we want to convey.

OZA was never designed to be summed up by a single line on a chart.

Since the launch of OZAPAY, our ambition has been to build a genuine ecosystem of digital services, payments and digital assets, accessible to both individuals and professionals.

Our application is operational.

Our teams continue their developments.

Our strategy of integrating new services and partners continues.

Our roadmap remains in place.

The OZA token supports this vision. It is meant to gradually integrate into a broader ecosystem, notably around community, loyalty, participation mechanisms and the services we are developing.

For our community, OZA therefore represents more than an asset exposed to market fluctuations: it is a gateway to the future developments of our ecosystem.

This does not mean it guarantees a financial return, a stake in the capital of OZAPAY, or automatic access to all future services.

The benefits, eligibility conditions and associated rights will be defined and communicated within the various programs.

But our conviction remains intact: building real use cases and a sustainable community must stay at the heart of our project.

A price can swing wildly within minutes.

A technology, a company and a strategy are not built in minutes.

It is on this fundamental difference that our long-term vision rests.

5. OZA V2: a new generation of token on Solana

We have decided to prepare a new version of our token: OZA V2.

This new generation will be developed on the Solana blockchain and will rely on the Token-2022 standard, also known as Token Extensions.

This architecture offers more advanced features than the historical Solana token program and will allow us to study mechanisms suited to the future needs of our ecosystem.

Our priority will focus in particular on security, distribution control, traceability and the management of lock-up commitments.

We are preparing native locking mechanisms, designed to offer a particularly demanding level of protection directly on the Solana blockchain.

The goal is to no longer depend on a third-party platform such as Solsale for locking our reserves.

The blocking rules, the unlocking conditions and the technical authorizations will need to be defined and verifiable directly on-chain.

We will pay particular attention to permission restrictions, control over program modification possibilities and the necessary security validations.

The Token-2022 standard provides a technical foundation, but the robustness of a lock-up also depends on the design of the program that enforces it.

We will never claim that a mechanism is inviolable. We want to be able to demonstrate, technically, the guarantees it provides.

We will not prematurely reveal all of OZA V2's characteristics.

The chosen mechanisms, technical parameters, distribution rules and timeline will be communicated shortly, once the necessary choices and verifications have been finalized.

We prioritize technical rigor over headline announcements.

6. Your OZA V1 remain essential to the recognition of your rights

The arrival of OZA V2 does not mean current holders will be abandoned.

Quite the opposite.

Your OZA V1 constitute your entry ticket to have your holdings and rights recognized in the future migration framework.

We will prepare an individual procedure designed to identify legitimate holders, verify holding histories and take existing commitments into account.

Special attention will be paid to tokens originating from the misappropriation, to prevent their fraudulent use in the migration process.

Holders who have transacted in good faith must be able to have their situation examined.

For members already engaged in a vesting schedule, existing rights and timelines will be taken into account.

For other holders, the future framework will provide locking mechanisms directly from the OZAPAY application, according to rules communicated in advance.

We invite our members to keep their OZA V1 and supporting documents, and to avoid any rushed operations while awaiting official instructions.

The recognition of rights will depend on the final criteria and checks. It does not constitute a promise of automatic reimbursement at a historical value.

No new investment will be required to have existing rights examined.

This is a fundamental point of our approach.

7. What about OZA's valuation? Wait and see.

We know this question is on everyone's mind.

How much will OZA be worth tomorrow?

At what price will OZA V2 be launched?

When will the market return to a more stable situation?

Our answer today is simple: wait and see.

We will not build unrealistic scenarios.

We will not announce an artificial valuation to provide momentary reassurance.

We will not promise a return to a specific price within a set timeframe.

A token remains subject to market conditions, liquidity, exchanges and the risks inherent to digital assets.

And we prefer to be transparent about this.

What we can control, on the other hand, is our work, our technical architecture, our development, our organization and the quality of the services we build.

Our priority is therefore to prepare the technical, operational and community conditions for the future launch of OZA V2.

Future valuation will be a matter of the market.

Our current responsibility is to build the fundamentals.

We will continue to develop use cases, strengthen the security of our ecosystem and prepare a new dynamic for our community.

No pie-in-the-sky plan. No promise of performance. Decisions, development and results to be demonstrated.

The rest, the market will decide.

8. Our infrastructure held firm: OZAPAY continuity is preserved

Alongside the Solsale incident, our IT infrastructure endured more than ten hours of attack attempts.

Our protections enabled us to repel the identified attempts, despite some occasional slowdowns.

To date, no successful intrusion or misappropriation of funds belonging to our members linked to these attacks has been observed.

Our teams continue checks and monitoring.

These events are distinct from the exploitation of the external locking system, and no link between their respective perpetrators has been established at this stage.

Our application and developments continue to operate.

The continuity of our services remains a priority.

We take security seriously, not because it became important on October 29, but because it is part of the permanent requirements of our business.

9. To our members and investors: also look at what we are building

I would like to address personally here those who accompany us.

I know that some members have invested a significant portion of their savings in our ecosystem.

I know that our investors and partners are wondering about the impact of this event.

And I know perfectly well that words will not be enough.

Trust is built and rebuilt through actions.

For years, we have been working to develop OZAPAY with an ambition that goes far beyond the existence of a token.

Our company does not disappear with a market fluctuation.

Our technology does not disappear.

Our application does not disappear.

Our roadmap does not disappear.

Nor does our determination.

I am a founder who never gives up.

I have not devoted so much time, resources and energy to this project to let an incident suffered at an external provider call all our ambitions into question.

We will pursue the necessary steps to track down those responsible for the misappropriation and attempt to recover the assets concerned.

We will also continue developing our technology, our products and our new OZA V2 environment.

These are two complementary priorities.

We are not asking our community to financially compensate for the consequences of this incident.

We are asking them to stay informed, vigilant and, for those who wish, involved in the next stages of our ecosystem.

The terms of participation in OZAPAY's future will be presented separately and in full transparency.

OZA V2 is not intended to erase the past. It must allow us to prepare the future while taking legitimate holders and existing commitments into account.

10. OZAPAY controls its roadmap and prepares what comes next

It would be easy, in a situation like this, to multiply spectacular announcements.

That is not our approach.

We have chosen to work on the issues that truly matter: security, traceability, native locking, holders' rights, migration and continuity of our services.

We know our technology, our ecosystem and the risks of our sector.

We had already anticipated the need to regain control of our locking mechanisms. Our technical migration was underway before the incident.

We now have a clear direction to continue this work and prepare OZA V2.

The situation calls for rigor, not improvisation.

Being prepared does not mean claiming to control every outside event. It means knowing how to face the unexpected, preserve what matters, identify weaknesses and have a plan to keep going.

It is in this mindset that we built OZAPAY. And it is in this mindset that we approach this new stage.

We will not reveal today all of OZA V2's characteristics, nor its final timeline, nor a theoretical valuation.

This information will come once it is sufficiently prepared and verified.

Our next token will be based on Token-2022 on Solana, with particular attention paid to the most robust native locking mechanisms we can design and validate.

The rest will be communicated shortly.

Our conviction remains intact

OZAPAY members do not merely hold a token whose price fluctuates on a market. They participate in the story of an ecosystem that continues to be built.

Their current OZA will be essential to have their situation recognized during the migration, according to the rules that will be established.

This entry ticket to the next stages of our ecosystem does not constitute a guarantee of return, but it retains a central role in our transition project.

As for valuation, we leave time, work and market conditions to do their work.

Wait and see.

As for technology, security and our roadmap, on the other hand, we keep moving forward.

We know what we want to build.

We had prepared this evolution before the incident.

And we are now putting all our energy into making it happen.

Our story does not stop on October 29, 2026. It is entering a new phase.

Thank you to our community, our investors and our partners for their trust.
